"Jardí" Paper Garden Sculpture – Reshaping Collection

The Concept:

Part of the ongoing Reshaping Collection, Jardí — the Catalan word for garden — is a permanent paper meadow. A hand-layered paper base, chalk-white and mineral-finished, holds eleven wire stems at varying heights — each one topped with a handmade paper flower, each flower crinkled and layered and coloured by hand in The Studio. No two flowers are identical. No two Jardí compositions are the same. The garden you choose is the garden that exists nowhere else.

The Form:

The base is 36cm long, 6cm tall and 5.5cm wide — a low horizontal form that sits on a console, a dining table, a windowsill, or a mantelpiece. The eleven stem openings are evenly spaced but the flowers are arranged at different heights, different angles, different orientations — some facing forward, some turning away, the way flowers actually grow. The wire stems can be gently curved and adjusted by the owner, making the composition live and changeable rather than fixed.

Available as a complete garden in your chosen colour palette, as a base only for those who want to build their own arrangement, or as individual stems to add to an existing Jardí.
