Hand-formed in our Palamós Studio, this vessel captures the raw, monumental presence of brutalist concrete through the sustainable and weightless medium of paper-mâché. Each piece is finished with a signature copper-toned band, creating a precise point of balance against its dark, textured silhouette.

The Concept:
Part of the ongoing Reshaping Collection, Àmfora references the ancient carrying vessel of the Mediterranean — the form that moved oil, wine, and salt across this sea for thousands of years. Hand-built in The Studio from layered house-made pattern paper, this open floor vessel carries that ancestral silhouette forward into recovered material and contemporary space.
The Form:
At 36cm tall and 35cm in diameter, Àmfora is a presence. The wide open mouth invites — dried branches, a cotton stem, a single tall botanical, or nothing at all. The rough grey exterior surface, built through successive layers of paper, is finished with a copper collar that grounds the form and connects it to the Reshaping Collection's material language of contrast: raw against refined, ancient against considered.
