"Ampolla" Vessel Form – Reshaping Collection

The Concept:
Part of the ongoing Reshaping Collection, Ampolla — the Catalan word for bottle — is the collection's most vertical and most classical form. Hand-built in The Studio from layered house-made pattern paper, its elongated neck and rounded base reference the ancient bottle forms of the Mediterranean — the vessel that held oil, perfume, and wine across civilisations — while the chalk-white mineral surface and hand-built texture place it firmly in the present.
The Form:
At 42cm tall and 13cm in diameter at its widest point, Ampolla is a presence. The narrow neck creates tension — the form seems to reach upward, to strain slightly toward the ceiling — while the rounded base grounds it with the same geological confidence as the rest of the Reshaping vessel series. A single dried stem through the neck is all it needs. The bottle as landscape. The vessel as architecture.
