The Concept:
Part of the ongoing Reshaping Collection, Àmfora Petit is a small vessel with ancient proportions — the classical amphora silhouette reduced to a scale you can hold in one hand. Hand-built in The Studio from layered house-made pattern paper, the surface finish references something recovered rather than made: chalk white over deep charcoal, worked and abraded until it reads like an object pulled from the sea floor after a century of salt and silence.
The Form:
At 15cm tall and 9cm wide, Àmfora Petit carries its history on its surface. The narrow neck accepts a small arrangement of dried stems — wheat, grasses, a single reed — with the same quiet ceremony as its much larger counterpart. The weathered finish shifts between warm and cool depending on the light, the white catching the morning, the charcoal deepening toward evening. A piece that looks like it was always there.
