The Concept:
Part of the ongoing Reshaping Collection, this wall sculpture exists in two orientations — and two names. Hung vertically, it becomes Fissura: a fault line, a crack of light splitting through dark matter, a geological event fixed in metal and gradient. Hung horizontally, it becomes Ona: a wave, a frequency, a signal moving across a surface. Same object. Two completely different works.
The Form:
Dozens of aluminum rods, each painted in a gradient from deep black to warm gold at the center, are mounted at varying heights on a fabric-backed panel — creating a silhouette that pulses with the logic of sound, landscape, or seismic data depending on how you read it. The gold core catches light differently throughout the day, making the piece feel alive and in motion even when still.
