"Espectre" Wall Sculpture with Integrated LED – Reshaping Collection

The Concept:

Part of the ongoing Reshaping Collection, Espectre — the Catalan word for spectrum — is the collection's most complex and complete object. Dozens of aluminium rods in four finishes — teal, black, gold, and silver — mounted at varying heights on a wood panel with integrated LED lighting at the back, top and bottom. By day, a wall sculpture. By night, a light installation. The same object, two completely different works.

The Form:

At 85cm wide, Espectre is built from rods of three diameters plus a fourth, thicker accent rod — the visual equivalent of a musical score where different instruments play the same frequency. The four colors are not random: teal, black, gold and silver are the complete Sinopia palette, present in this single piece as they are present across the entire collection. The LED backlighting floods the wall behind with warm light, making the rods glow from behind and casting individual shadows that extend the sculpture beyond its physical edges.

The silhouette — a double wave, a heartbeat, a frequency — changes depending on the light conditions, the viewing angle, and the time of day. No two moments are identical.
