"Safata — Marina" Tray – Reshaping Collection

The Concept:

Part of the ongoing Reshaping Collection, Safata — Marina is a tray built from the collection's fabric vocabulary. The coastal stripe canvas that lines the interior has travelled further than most objects in this store — from a fashion studio, through a Nordic winter, to a workroom overlooking the harbor at Palamós. Hand-assembled in The Studio with a blue PU leather exterior and clean folded corners, it arrives as a flat organizational form that makes any surface look considered simply by existing on it.

The Form:

At 38×20×4cm, Safata sits on a desk, a bedside table, a console, or a dining sideboard — corralling keys, cards, candles, and the small objects that accumulate at the end of a day. The blue PU leather exterior is clean and structured. The stripe canvas interior is the private detail: visible only when something is placed inside, known only to whoever uses it daily. A tray that carries the memory of the fabric without announcing it.
