"Porta — Àncora Tela" Fabric Doorstop – Reshaping Collection

The Concept:

Part of the ongoing Reshaping Collection, Porta — Àncora Tela is the fabric counterpart to the cement Porta — Àncora — the same symbol, a different material language. Where the cement version is raw and geological, the fabric version is soft, precise, and domestic: anchor-printed canvas hand-sewn over a grey PU leather base, weighted with sand from the beaches of Palamós. Two versions of the same intention: to hold fast, to stay put, to choose where you are.

The Form:

The anchor motif print canvas wraps a tapered form that sits naturally beside any door — the nautical reference strong enough to be specific, restrained enough to belong in a considered interior without shouting. The leather handle loop emerges from the top, practical and clean. A piece that connects the room to the sea without a single wave in sight.

The Sand:

Every Porta doorstop is filled with genuine beach sand from Palamós, collected and triple-treated in The Studio: vinegar-washed, oven-dried, and mixed with baking soda and peppermint essential oil. Clean, moisture-free, and subtly fragrant.
